Matthew 12:7 Jesus is rebuking the Pharisees for judging him when he goes to heal a man. Saying it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
I want your opinion on this. Do you think this applies to any other commandments? The idea that we should do what is good rather than follow the law black and white.

The new album 'Infest The Rats Nest' is recieving a lot of coverage and is being talked about in circles where they have never been mentioned before. I think this album is the one that is going to get them a hell a lot of fans who wouldn't have been fans otherwise. I'm talking Metalheads(those dudes who rock out to mainstream outfits like Megadeth,Black Sabbath and Metallica but never heard of King Gizz).
The song Iron Man by Black Sabbath would make for a good episode of LDR, hear me out.
The plot of the song is that a time traveler is sent from the future to warn mankind of peril. On his way to the past he passes through a magnetic field that turns him into iron. Being mute and unable to move Iron Man is mocked by people that come across him. Eventually he snaps, and somehow goes on a killing spree, becoming the peril he went back in time to warn people about. It's a cool albeit generic plot but I have some rewrites that could make the plot work beautifully with LDR.
My rewritten version of the plot is that time travel works by sending a consciousness through time, rather than a physical body. The consciousness sent back will be received by a human host living in the past. Iron Man cannot speak the past's form of English as in the future English changes dramatically. I also think it would be cool if there were no subtitles for what Iron Man is saying so we see it from the perspective of the people from the past. Anyway, after some abuse Iron Man concocts a plan, using his knowledge of future technology he creates robots that learn the language of the past and forcefully capture people to tell them of their future plight. Its also obligatory that Iron Man should be incased in metal in the process, either by creating a suit of armor or by accident. These robots then go on to become the killer AI Iron Man was sent back in time to stop. I also think that time travel should derange a person's conciousness making it appropriate that he's doing this fucked up stuff. The song most definitely needs to be used in the episode, or at least the instrumental.

What are everyone's favorite stands? Mine are
Honorable mentions ｢The Fool｣ ｢The Hand｣ ｢Metallica｣
We'll cue up Black Sabbath for this one first, just for mood ...
"Red sun rising, in the sky. Sleeping village. Cockrel's cry. Soft breeze blowing in the trees. Place of mind. Feel at ease."
I was on Cape Cod last week in the wonders of Chatham for a beautiful summer week of weather and surf, fortunately no sharks. I had a good stash of 2C-D and 3-HO-PCP and I've been using the HO daily for a while. Never tried 2C-D before in my life. I have minimal experience with psychedelic phenethylamines beyond MDA and MDMA and mecaline. Had LSD by the sheet and purple microdots when I was 14 through 19 in the mid 70s ... good stuff too.
OK, so it's night and with friends family and nobody really know any of this shit. I've been rocking the HO fairly hard that day .. maybes a few 10mg doses, but earlier the day before I started adding 2C-D to the mix and oh, what a mix it was!
Maybe just 5 to 10 mg a pop a few times -- colors brightened and outlines bristled, my sociability enhanced and the ease and fluidness of life was simply like nothing I've ever experience -- NOTHING. A day goes by and I still keep up this routine, but that night I pushed the 2-HO-PCP a bit far and I had ONE beer -- I don't usually drink.
I was downstairs when I sort of blacked out briefly, but I entered HELL when I 'came to' -- and a HELL it was. My body bristles and my blood runs cold while I'm telling you this my friends.
My friends, I have seen HELL and here is what it looks like. This is spooky stuff. I was in a loop and couldn't get out of the house and everything kept repeating. Every time I tried to leave the scenes kept being refed ,,, go upstairs, have the wife ask me 'what's wrong' go downstairs, no one there, now nobody is there and I'm ALONE, it complete night out and I can't stop going room to room and it keeps repeating over and over and over and over ... I'm getting exhausted,, but the matrix won't let me out and it's FORVER and I know it's FOREVER and the terror, of the terrors, OH. IT was as if only the home was there and I was marooned for eternity.
Somehow, the experience 'broke' and the wife was asking what the F*ck was wrong with me. The experience had me so psychically scarred that I was assured I'd have PTSD from it for ever. I had to literally get out of the house to prove I could break free and I did, but I still felt 'jacked in' to the matrix. Everything had the glossy, lacquered look like when on LSD. I hugged a scrub pine to see if it was real and it was. I then took a long mile walk to a lighthouse waaay the fuck out on the beach in the full moonlight re-hashing and trying to understand what happened and re-integrate so to speak.
It was now 3AM. Took me 3 days to get back fully and synchronicity was still occurring. We went to a wonderful restaurant in Brewster and a guitar player was serenading and he looked installed there. He was playing all Jobim and Gilberto songs fluently which I love to my core, just instrumental. We spoke and again every thing flowed beautifully.
Just yesterday I had an idea that I thought I only had the answer to ... like only I knew and that burden was awful. We all die exactly where we were born, but nobody put this together yet and when I die, I start over, except I'll know. The fucking terror of that concept has me afraid of death. It's ridiculous right? I mean, people die far from we're they're born and it doesn't make sense.
I disposed of the 2C-D ... it's meant for stonger people then I. Not sure how Shulgin handled his shit so well, but micing dissos and this is BONEHEAD stuff for sure.
Spooky times people, spooky indeed. I'm thinking of a book similar to Mobey Dick, but it will be a voyage of the mind.
Captain Ahab signing off.

I love music, love so many bands, but I really don't enjoy most gigs, and its evident that most people who attend don't either but they pretend to to seem cool and radical. It only takes half an hour or so before everyones legs are hurting, they're tired, and would rather be at home. There's the stress of getting there, the crowds of people and the stress and hassle of getting home, not to mention the ringing in your ears for a day after. Most people stand absolutely still during a gig but for the nutters at the front, and its so obvious people are there just to say they have been. Most people at festivals aren't even paying attention to the band! They are too busy contriving photo opportunites for instagram wearing silly hats or face paint, trying to look like the cool kids with loads of rock and roll friends. It drives me mad.
Live music is not better than listening at home (on the most part). The sound quality is often atrocious, especially outdoor gigs, and they are just never worth the hassle.
The only concerts I have been to that were worth the hassle were Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Black Sabbath. The rest were a waste of money, and just full of people pretending they wanted to be there.

Wesley on the left. Ghost Town on the right.
Namesake: Ghost Town by Five Finger Death Punch
Stand User: Wesley Killian (Masked Man), a old serial killer pent up in a abandoned Wild West town (hence "Ghost Town". In his prime, he used his stand to fuel his insanity; but now, he uses it as protection. The picture of him as "masked man" is in his younger years. This stand fits into the setting of Stardust Crusaders roughly, but has the abilities and style of later stands.
Stats (Both Modes) and appearance: See picture above. Top Graph is in darkness, bottom is in light.
This stand maximum range is 100 meters away from the user. Similar and possibly tied to Wesley's murder instincts, Ghost Town cannot be controlled; Only taken out and recalled with the condition of no "prey" being nearby. Similar to Notorious B.I.G, this stand (and user) can sense the fear of all beings in the 100 meter radius as if they had x-ray heat detection goggles. This is a punchy stand, using a strained "Ku" as its stand cry; it has the punch force similar to Crazy Diamond, if not Star Platinum. This stand is seemingly invincible inside darkness, as it can absorb the nothiness which is shadows. Inside shadows, altough it may not go into them like Black Sabbath, Ghost Town can move at extremly high speeds similar to Silver Chariot at it's fastest (comparable to light itself.) The weakness of this stand is both light and the fearlessness of its target. Starting with the latter, Ghost Town relies on fear in so much ways. Wesley is near-blind at his age, meaning fear detection is the duo's only way of sight. Also, the power of Nightmare is directly linked to fear, meaning on top of blindness: Ghost Town will not be at his full potential. Wesley rejects this limitation by having many animals, even a few humans, hidden in the town. This way, Ghost Town can use them as a reserve.
On to the issue of light... if fear is food for Nightmare, then darkness is the water. When no darkness is connected to Ghost Town, it lowers it's stats to C/D/A/D/E/A. The only stat that raises is it's developmental potential, meaning it of course, can develop by regaining its Dark Form. In it's regular form (exposed to light); Ghost Town becomes much skinnier, but it can still pack a little punch, being reduced to a little less than the power of Golden Experience (Rank C). Its speed is abominable as being "dehydrated" caused it to use its stump-for-legs, instead of the usual snake-like movements (Rank D). The rest of the stats, excluding durability, remain the same. Durability is the main issue of its regular form, as even though the force of it's punch can still hit hard due to magic, most of the muscle is gone; meaning breaking a bone would be like punching 2-inch thick ice, less than a human. It's form in light still resembles a shadow... when examined for a body, would appear like an empty robe with arms. And will accept a recall in a defeated state.
Additional Ability: Poison Expertise
Wesley used his knowledge of Irish poisons to outfit Ghost Town with two formidable weapons on top of its punching strenghth. First, his right arm has blades running down it, drenched with the more potent effect. One drop of this, meaning a tiny cut will do, can cause extreme hysteria. This perectly fits Ghost Town as it's power can spike after using this. It seems to be quick and short, and the same person will have a resistance to it for a while after the first "dose." The weaker technically, but equally useful poison, is coated sparingly on the tips of Ghost Towns claw left claw. It causes immense pain, and can be varied on how many fingers Ghost Town penetrates with (UwU). 1 finger will cause a annoying burn that can hinder weaker-minded individuals, while 5 fingers would cause Dio himself to writhe in pain for a dozen or so seconds. The initial dose will be the hardest part, and will gradually lessen. After a finger is inserted, the poison will be wiped off (and/or) enter the blood stream, needing to be recoated.
